  • How It Works:

We like to personally know every runner that we work with, even if you’re coming into one of our $15pw Race Training Groups. Our Kaupapa is that we want to actually Coach, and this is why we limit our numbers into the Tarawera 50k Training Group to just 20 Runners.

With a group of this size, you’ll get to personally know your Coaches and other runners around NZ and beyond on our Monthly Group Zoom Calls, and you’ll get to receive the benefits of really being Coached.

We use Training Peaks, the world’s #1 Endurance Training application to house and deliver your plan to you. We build your Group Plan out in 2-4 Week Blocks, and we build the plan to suit the group. There are different options on key workouts depending on your level- we will advise you what Sessions and Training Mix is best suited to you as an individual when we onboard you. So don’t worry- the Training won’t be too hard or too easy, it will be appropriately challenging for wherever you’re at in your running journey.

Training Peaks syncs with your Garmin, Coros, Polar, Apple both ways. This means that you don’t have to remember the detail for sessions like speed or hill workouts. They will already be on your watch- and you’ll be prompted throughout the session! Then, after you complete the session, it will upload to your Training Peaks where you can leave feedback and comments that we will see on our side about how your session went.

From our supportive ‘how to’ content and monthly Group Coach Calls on Zoom, you will learn how to review your own run sessions. This is possible on Training Peaks Premium- as we here at CMF cover for your premium Subscription for you. We want you to build the sufficient tools that you need to crush your Running, so it makes sense to us that we would teach you how to do these things!

You can expect your Coaching and Training journey to TUM50 with us to be fun- otherwise, what are we doing here lol. You can expect it to be challenging, yet achievable.
