Let’s spice things up! Turmeric is the topic this week, you can buy it in some supermarkets but its probably more likely that you’d find it in a good vege/organic store. Have you ever asked why it is billed a ”Super-food” and what are the benefits of it?

Turmeric contains Curcumin which is the anti inflammatory component in Turmeric. Anything that has anti inflammatory properties in it in this day and age is good as there is literally so many things in our lives that cause inflammation in our bodies! From things such as environmental responses , chemicals in the food chain, to stress in daily life. So- some of things it can help with:

– Circulation, joint and muscle pain
– Prevent Heart disease, balance blood sugar level
– Lift mood and prevent depression
